My daily Facebook business routine has undergone quite a change recently and I have noticed quite a big difference. I get more comments, I get more likes and I get more shares. All of that means I also get more blog views, subscribers and team members.
Due to the difference it has made to me I thought I would share…
First Things First
My daily Facebook business routine is actually really simple and hardly takes any time at all. When I first log in I post a good morning message on my pages and groups. Once I get those done I go back to the start and make sure to reply to each person. This is probably the longest part of my routine to be honest as I do like to have a chat to people each day if I can.
First thing in the morning I also try to check my messages and get back to anyone I might have not replied to yet. I will also send some PM’s to people I want to follow up with regarding their interest in joining the team etc.
A Little Scheduling
Next I try to schedule some posts for my pages and groups – I aim for 3-4 each day now and spread them out during the day. Personally I like to get ahead of my scheduling so I aim to do enough for 3 days each time I am scheduling. That way I get really ahead of myself, but I can always post again when I feel like adding a quick update. It also means when I am having a bad or busy day that my pages and groups don’t suffer.
I tend to not do much promoting by posting in groups or anything. When I do I choose 1 group to focus on for a week and post in there once each day. I try to vary the time a little if I can. At the end of the week I check to see how much of a response I have got from the group. If not much then I don’t post in there again.
I usually do this in the afternoon. Personally I like to try and connect with around 10 new people each day by leaving comments on their posts. I also like to aim for reconnecting with 10 people on my friends list who I haven’t spoken to in a while. The re-connections I try to do for around a week with the same 10 people.
As you can’t schedule on your personal profile I do try to add around 4-5 updates on there during the day as well.
To be honest that is pretty much my full routine. I can do the whole thing in about 30 mins to 1 hour per day. The main thing to remember is to not get distracted. If you are on to do a particular thing then do that first and then you can get distracted all you want but your work is still done 😉
Do you have a Facebook routine? I would love to hear about it!
